Mike
Bishop emcee, vocals, producer
MIKE was born in Wilson, Arkansas, a small delta town on the banks of the Mississippi
River just 40 miles from Memphis, Tennessee. Coming from hard working parents and being right in the middle of eleven children, he experienced the struggle of everyday people
making a living out of the rich Delta soil. Being so close to Memphis, Mike was introduced
to all kinds of music and saw it as his ticket out of the cotton fields of northeast Arkansas.
He learned to play drums, and after playing in local bands, got his first "real music job"
entertaining at DOGPATCH USA, a small theme park south of Harrison, Arkansas. Falling
in love with the idea of entertaining people on vacation, and with his "soon to be bride"
whom he met also working at the park, Mike made his home in the Ozarks and has been
here ever since. Today, he is not only producer and emcee of the Pine Mountain Show, but
directs the marketing and overall management of the facility. He is also very involved in the
community where he has served as a member of the Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce Board
of Directors, the Mayors Tourism Task Force, the Tourism Advisory Council, the Northwest Arkansas Tourism Association, and is an active member of the Eureka Springs Tourism Cooperative.

Dale
Bishop vocalist
DALE is without a doubt one of the most gifted performers ever to take the stage. She not only
has a beautiful voice, but also has a keen sense of humor, a great smile, a graceful stage presence and her eyes sparkle with every note she sings. This is all because of her love for people
and for what she does every night in the show. Dale was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and lived in Texas before her family moved to Arkansas. She was always involved
in school and church music and drama, as well as community theater. She met Mike at
DOGPATCH USA theme park where she performed as a street character. In the early 80's
she was a member of Lee Mace's Ozark Opry at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Since then
she and Mike have entertained together. Dale is very passionate about animals, especially
her dogs. Currently she and Mike have four "children" at home... Sally, a blue-tick/pyrenees mix; Roadie, a blue-tick/boxer mix; and Sugar Bear, a walker hound, and Buster, a bloodhound. All four "fur babies" are rescues. Dale's mother,
Mary "Moe" Alexander, lives with her and Mike on 17 acres "out in the country", where she
"baby sits" each evening while Mike and Dale perform. |

Scott
Dewbre comedy, saxophone, guitar, vocals
Scott comes from a long line of musicians. His love for music began at age three when he
would sit between his mother and sister-in-law and listen as they sang in church. He was
amazed at how they could pick out the harmony parts and that intrigued him. In school
he first learned to play saxophone, then later guitar. After graduation he discovered that
playing saxophone and guitar could get him into small bands and make a little money so
there he went. He joined up with his brother, Lee, and over time the Singletree Band was
formed. That band performed together for 18 years during which time they opened for
and performed with major artists such as Restless Heart, Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks.
A top honor for the group was when they performed on the Grand Ole Opry and placed
4th out of 150,000 acts in the National Wrangler Country Showdown. In 2000, after coming
off the road he moved to Eureka Springs and in 2001 began performing with Mike and Dale
Bishop. He loves making peopled laugh, but his real joy in life is his family. He and his wife Debbie enjoy family time with their seven grown childrend and all the grandkids. |

Kenneth "Buster" Sharp guitar, bass, steel guitar,
vocals
"Kenneth Dale Sharp is my real name, but you might notice that my friends call me
Buster. When you walk through the doors of the PINE MOUNTAIN THEATER you become
my friend, so, Buster to you also". That's what Buster says and that's how Buster is in real
life. He plays lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, bass guitar and sings in addition to being
bandleader for the show. He has always played guitar and before he got a real one at
eight years old had plastic ones. He grew up in Ava, Missouri where his grandfather built
and pastored the Assembly of God Church. He learned to play sitting by the piano and
watching him play. Buster says, "The talent God gave me and the helping hand of my
Grandpa Carl Willis has given me a life I could only have dreamed of ... taking me places I
never could have gone". He made his home in Branson in 1988 and since has performed in
several shows and played behind many of the Opry stars. "If you want to know who and where"
Buster says, "just come on down and ask me
I'll be glad to tell ya!" Buster is the proud parent of three
children, Whitney, Willie and Jesse.

Acra
Turner piano and vocals
Acra was born and raised in a musical family in Richmond, Virginia. His mother was a
gospel radio announcer and was responsible for all of her children singing in the church
choir. The musical foundation he received from his church has been the driving force that
continues to "sound-out" when he sings and plays piano. He has performed all over the
country. Acra has worked as choir director and as minister of music throughout his career.
Most recently, before coming to Eureka Springs he was a college basketball coach. In addition to performing at the Pine Mountain Theater Acra serves as pastor at Rock Springs Baptist Church and, along with his wife Joann ministers through music at area nursing homes. John Walter
Morrison drums, guitar, vocals
John Walter, Walt to all of us, was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He grew up on
a farm outside Mascoutah, Illinois, 30 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri. His father played
guitar and sang country and western music. From an early age he recalls "taking trash
cans and diaper pails, tossing their contents onto the floor, grabbing a couple of spoons,
setting it all up and playing along with him. Dad always encouraged me." He joined his
first band at age 14 and went on the road at 18. In the late 1980s Walt's group did a series
of tours for the Department of Defense entertaining our military troops all over the world
being the first act sent into Saudi Arabia after Desert Storm. In 1992 he moved his wife
Becky and daughter Carly to Branson where he performed at a variety of venues until 2000
when he stepped away from music for the ministry. He joined the PINE MOUNTAIN THEATER
show in 2006 where he says; "I find many blessings here at Pine Mountain...two of the most
important are playing the music that I love, and maintaining my focus on Jesus Christ". |
